Clay figure #1

Posted by DarkHabit May. 30, 2008 @ 6:39 PM EDT

YAY I made squirrely, its my first clay model, i learned clay stuff in 8th grade, how to make slip and making peices stick with slip & holes. In 8th grade I made a pot, so this is my first character/figure Ive done.(Btw im in 11th) Super glossed him =o

Gona work on zombie squirrel next.

btw this was made with air dry modeling clay, its rock heavy.

I really want to look into sculpey. Mindchamber's model of his famous character is inspiring.

(Zombie squirrel will be started this month, finished a week after)

Sculpey is a great brand of clay, but I use Fimo.

Whatever floats your boat.

I laughed when I first saw this in the thread.

Lol nice, glad it brought you humor. This type of clay would proably break easy when droped from a height on hard floor. But I dont wanna find out. Im gona proably expiriment with forms of clay sometime this month
