Does this pass the portal, sure proably. Infact it did. What should matter is did it pass what you want to express? In all fairness you could have redrawn the last scene with a lemonade bucket, and world to look better, and animated a better turn. Just more time next time.

The explosion effect was good, preety good in the begginning looks rushed towards end.

Good game, I didnt play it too long, but it was good. A good way to pause is inbetween deaths. I use to play maple story, it was too much grinding for me.

Next game make a pause button OR a safe zone where you can buy stuff without worrying about mr.death

It was well done, the graphics, and old skoo feel with gradients and images imported, it was all nice in general, But the enemy's hp was too high for someone like me who wants to shoot him and see his head explode on bullet #1. You made a good pizza, but burnt the crust a bit.

Outstanding. A good percentage of games are copies of other games, which is why we have game genres and such. So just because its similar to "portal" doesnt make it not awsome. Programmed nicely, graphics/animations are just superb.

Nice, hope any tips i give help.

The concept is gook for a short, you just have to add anticipation to it, make the viewer totally know whats coming, when its not. You could do a close up on the kite string, show water dripping down it, and the camera views all the way down to the guys hand holding it, than zooms back to the sky and than views the characters. Its like in a movie theres not just one camera angle. Hope you get what im saying, it wasnt bad, you tryed more than alot of people and with that ambition you can get better in no time.

and dont take anything i said offencively, your 2nd submission was better than mine, i had 4 up at one time but ive deleted them due to standards that i think are crap.

Wow, that was preety neat. I freaking hate chalk, i hate its sound, and dryness. My top 3fears are sharks (if im in the middle of an ocean), in a lake with crocs/gators and than chalk.

Cant wait till smoking kills collab is done.
